Arcola’s Green Sunday- 6th December
From Copenhagen to Christmas
12:30 – 7:30pm
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our times and also one of the most confusing. On the 7th December environmental ministers, diplomats, campaigners and journalists from around the world will meet in Copenhagen to discuss and debate ways to limit climate change. COP 15 is the official name of the summit – the 15th Conference of Parties (COP) – and its purpose is to find a successor to the Kyoto protocol. December’s Green Sundays will give you the low-down on Copenhagen in an accessible and easy to understand way and explain the issues surrounding COP15.
There will also be kids activities, delicious food, live music and this month sees the return of the popular SwapShop.
